I work as an independent social media consultant. I help people build web strategies, implement technology and social media tools that assist them in their businesses and help to increase their web presence and outreach.
In 2009, I Co-Founded Tech Start-up SPRLG.
Prior to starting my own business in January 2007, I was the social web Director for Raincity Studios, a Vancouver-based web development and design studio. I also worked as associate web designer at zu.com.
I do what I do because I love technology, business and connecting: with people, people to other people, people in business, people to technology. I am involved in my own technology community through events and speaking engagements, which you can read about here.

I proudly hail from Newfoundland. I have lived in Montreal, Toronto, Saskatoon, St. Catherine’s, Oxford and Los Angeles. I happily make my home in Vancouver, BC.
I run, snowboard, play tennis, hike, sometimes snowshoe, sometimes try to surf, love music, play the guitar and the piano. I enjoy wine and Guinness. I love cheese and chocolate.
I have a fantastic Bernese Mountain Dog named Capo, Il Capitano.
I am happily married to the most amazing man and my absolute perfect mate.
