I am an independent social media web strategist. I help people and companies implement technology and social media tools that assist them in their business, web presence and outreach.

I discovered the social web when I “covertly” documented my experiences working for CBC TV at the Torino Olympic Games in Italy. Connecting with people online and growing a small community from nothing at the time, using this blog, Flickr and YouTube was how it began. And so it continues… I do what I do because I enjoy connecting with people, what technology can do, and connecting people with technology. Read more about the things I do here.

I am currently a Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Diploma Candidate and also write for an online drink, food and lifestyle magazine, The Unreserved.

I proudly hail from Newfoundland. I have lived in Montreal, Toronto, Saskatoon, St. Catharines, Oxford and Los Angeles. I happily make my home in Vancouver, BC.

I run, snowboard, play tennis, sometimes surf, play the guitar and piano. I love wine, Guinness, music and all food.

I have a fantastic Bernese Mountain Dog named Capo, Il Capitano.

I am happily married to an amazing man and my absolute perfect mate.

From 2006 to 2010 I was known online as Megan Cole. And then I changed my name.
